01 October 2008 Churchend judged to be 'Outstanding' by OfSTED once again!
Churchend school was inspected on September 16th 2008-just less than three years since the last inspection.We are delighted to report that the school has again been judged to be outstanding.If it is possible,inspectors were even more complimentary than when they last visited.We are thrilled that we have again recieved this external verification.It is always very satisfying when experts(who spend all their time visiting schools)decide that what we do at Churchend is exceptional.All parents have been given a copy of the report.It can also be downloaded from the OfSTED website and will be added to our school website shortly. Mrs Dethridge and Churchend School staff have been selected for a top role supporting schools experiencing some difficulties. Mrs Dethridge is one of only 61 Heads across the country to be appointed a National Leader of Education(NLE)this year.
